FAQs

What Career Counseling and Assessment offers:

  • Identifying a career choice

  • Clarifying decision making

  • Identifying opportunities for adjustment within the current work environment.

  • Helping to decide on various ways to change one’s current work environment to better match your unique skills and values.

What is involved in Career Counseling and Assessment Process?

I’ve designed a counseling and assessment process that covers important and influential individual differences across three domains - occupational interests, abilities, and personality - and the interactions among them. We address these domains throughout four one on one sessions.

You will take assessments online in their own time. Following this, in each consulting session you are provided with user-friendly reports describing the results from each of the tests. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive written report that summarizes the assessment and consulting process and highlights recommendations.

Sophisticated and well-researched assessment instruments

The process includes access to several sophisticated and well-researched assessment instruments. These include: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Strong Interest Inventory®, California Psychological Inventory®, Employee Aptitude Survey®, along with a values card sort and work history reflection.
